Seattle Mariners utility option Andrew Romine is starting against the Los Angeles Angels on Wednesday afternoon.
Kyle Seager was scratched for personal reasons, so Romine will fill in at third base and bat ninth versus Angels right-hander Garrett Richards on Wednesday. He's gone 8-for-51 (.157) in 33 games this season.
