Brewers acquire Brad Miller from Rays
The Milwaukee Brewers have acquired shortstop Brad Miller from the Tampa Bay Rays.
What It Means:
Miller was designated for assignment earlier in the week, so the Rays are just happy to get something back in the form of first baseman Ji-Man Choi. It's likely that Miller will be used in a utility role in the infield for the time being.
In 48 games, Miller is hitting .256 with 5 home runs, 21 RBI and a .751 OPS.
