Giants' Brandon Crawford out of Saturday's lineup
San Francisco Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford is absent from the lineup for Saturday's matchup with the Washington Nationals.
What It Means:
With lefty Gio Gonzalez on the mound, Crawford will head out in favor of Alen Hanson at short. Evan Longoria is entering the fold at third, where Hanson played a night ago.
Crawford is projected to hit .270 with 12 home runs and 50 RBI over the rest of the season.
