Drew Pomeranz put on disabled list by Red Sox
Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Drew Pomeranz will be shelved on the disabled list with a biceps injury.
What It Means:
Pomeranz is suffering from left biceps tendonitis, so he will miss some time to rest his arm. Brandon Workman was recalled to take his place.
In 37.0 innings pitched thus far, Pomeranz has a 6.81 ERA with a 1.84 WHIP.
