Noah Syndergaard (finger) expected to return to the Mets' rotation June 10
New York Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard (finger) is expected to return to the rotation next Sunday, June 10, versus the New York Yankees.
Syndergaard suffered a strained ligament in his right index finger but was able to make it through a bullpen session on Sunday is expected to be activated off the DL for a start next Sunday. The Mets' ace last pitched on May 25.
Syndergaard owns a 3.06 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, and 4-1 record with 76 strikeouts in 64 2/3 innings pitched this season.
