David Dahl (foot) placed on the Rockies' DL on Friday

Colorado Rockies outfielder David Dahl was placed on the 10-day DL with a broken foot and will miss the next six-to-eight weeks.

What It Means:

Awful news for Dahl as the outfielder thought he was dealing with just a bruised shin after fouling a ball off his foot on Monday. The young outfielder missed extended time with a rib injury last season and is going to be out until well after the All-Star Break now.

Dahl was batting .275 with 4 homers and 13 RBI in 97 plate appearances this season.
