St. Louis' Carson Kelly heads to the bench on Thursday night
St. Louis Cardinals catcher Carson Kelly is not in the lineup for Thursday's home matchup with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
What It Means:
After going 0-for-1 in three plate appearances last night, Kelly will cede the catching spot to Francisco Pena on Thursday. Pena bats eighth for the Redbirds.
Our models project Kelly for 1 home run, 5 RBI and a .167 average the rest of the season.
