Cardinals' Alex Reyes officially activated Wednesday for season debut
St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Alex Reyes has been activated from the 60-day disabled list and is starting against the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday afternoon.
Reyes was considered the top pitching prospect in all of baseball a couple years ago, before undergoing Tommy John surgery for his right elbow in February of 2017. This will be the 23-year-old right-hander's first appearance in the majors since September of 2016. He fanned 44 batters over four rehab starts in the minors.
numberFire's models project Reyes to score 23.0 FanDuel points at a cost of $6,200 on Wednesday.
