Eduardo Nunez playing designated hitter for Red Sox on Wednesday
Boston Red Sox infielder Eduardo Nunez is playing designated hitter against the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday.
Nunez will work out of the five-hole versus Blue Jays right-hander Sam Gaviglio while handling DH duties for the first time this season. J.D. Martinez, Andrew Benintendi, and Jackie Bradley will cover the outfield for Boston while Brock Holt moves to second base and Dustin Pedroia heads to the bench.
