Chicago White Sox shortstop Jose Rondon will serve as the team's designated hitter for Saturday's game against the Detroit Tigers.
Matt Davidson was expected to return from a three-game absence, but his back injury will keep him out again on Saturday. Rondon will replace him at the DH spot and hit fourth.
