Chicago White Sox catcher Alfredo Gonzalez is starting Saturday afternoon against the Detroit Tigers.
Gonzalez will spell Omar Narvaez behind the plate. As the White Sox face Detroit's Francisco Liriano, Gonzalez hits ninth from the right side.
Over 27 games, Gonzalez hit .169 with 0 home runs and 5 RBI at Triple-A Charlotte.
