Travis Shaw absent from Brewers' Thursday lineup
Milwaukee Brewers third baseman Travis Shaw is not in the team's starting lineup for Thursday's matchup with the New York Mets.
With lefty Steven Matz on the mound for New York, Shaw will head to the bench. He'll be replaced by Hernan Perez at third as Ryan Braun reenters the lineup fresh off the DL.
With 12 homers, 31 RBI and a .243 average to date, Shaw is projected for 22 home runs, 67 RBI and a .265 average over the rest of the 2018 season.
