Gregory Polanco out of Pirates' lineup Thursday afternoon
Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Gregory Polanco is absent from the team's starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Cincinnati Reds.
It's somewhat surprising to see Polanco head to the bench with a righty on the mound, so this just looks like a normal rest day for the left-handed bat. He'll be replaced by Adam Frazier, who will man right and hit second for the Pirates.
Polanco is 3-for-19 with 5 strikeouts and 3 walks in his last 5 games. He's now hitting .220 with 8 home runs and 22 RBI on the season.
