Chicago White Sox catcher Welington Castillo will reportedly be suspended for 80 games after testing positive for a performance enhancing drug.
Castillo's suspension is reportedly not for steroids, but does fall under the performance enhancing drug category. He will not be eligible for the playoffs if the White Sox manage to qualify.
Through 111 plate appearances this season, Castillo has totaled 12 runs, 6 homers and 15 RBI, with a .270 average.
