Matt Davidson (back) scratched from White Sox lineup on Wednesday night
Chicago White Sox third baseman Matt Davidson will not play in Wednesday's game versus the Baltimore Orioles due to back stiffness.
Davidson was originally slated to start as the designated hitter and bat sixth, but will be replaced in the lineup by Jose Rondon, who will bat seventh.
numberFire's models project Davidson for 34 runs, 17 homers and 45 RBI, with a .231 average over 311 remaining plate appearances this season.
