Brandon Guyer placed on Indians’ disabled list with neck strain

Cleveland Indians outfielder Brandon Guyer was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a left cervical strain.

What It Means:

Guyer joins fellow outfielders Bradley Zimmer (rib), Lonnie Chisenhall (calf), and Tyler Naquin (hamstring) on the Indians' DL. The club called up right-hander Adam Plutko from Triple-A Columbus in a corresponding roster move.

Guyer is averaging 5.2 FanDuel points in 33 games this season while slashing .150/.244/.325 with 3 homers and 10 RBI across 90 plate appearances.
