Jay Bruce scratched from Mets' lineup on Tuesday, Jose Bautista making debut in left field
New York Mets outfielder Jay Bruce was scratched from Tuesday's lineup against the Miami Marlins.
Jose Bautista made it to the park on time, so he will play left field and bat fifth while Brandon Nimmo moves to right and Bruce gets sent to the bench.
Bruce is averaging 7.5 FanDuel points per game this season. numberFire's models project him to hit .253 with 17 homers and 54 RBI over the rest of the year.
