Jose Bautista a late add to the Mets' lineup on Tuesday
Newly signed New York Mets outfielder Jose Bautista has been added to the lineup on Tuesday.
What It Means:
Bautista, who signed a one-year deal earlier in the day on Tuesday, will start in left field and bat fifth against the Miami Marlins. Jay Bruce heads to the bench with Brandon Nimmo sliding over to right field.
Bautista hit just .143 with 2 homers in 40 plate appearances with the Atlanta Braves earlier this season.
