Tampa Bay Rays second baseman Joey Wendle has been placed on the paternity leave list.
Wendle will be replaced on the roster by top infield prospect Willy Adames as he and his wife welcome a new baby into the world.
Wendle is averaging 7.2 FanDuel points in 38 games this season while slashing .288/.336/.384 with 3 steals, 14 runs, 11 RBI, and 1 home run across 137 plate appearances.
