Freddy Peralta optioned back to Triple-A Colorado Springs
The Milwaukee Brewers optioned right-handed pitcher Freddy Peralta to Triple-A Colorado Springs.
Chase Anderson is back in the rotation after a bad bout of food poisoning, so Peralta will move back down to the minors following an inconsistent, albeit brief, showing for Milwaukee. The 21-year-old right-hander pitched a 1-hit shutout versus the Colorado Rockies in his big league debut on May 13, but followed it up by allowing 4 runs and yielding 6 walks against the Minnesota Twins on Saturday.
Peralta averaged 38.6 FanDuel points in his two starts with the Brewers.
