Houston Astros outfielder Derek Fisher has been placed on the 10-day disabled list, retroactive to May 19, with gastrointestinal discomfort.
Fisher should be healthy enough to return when first eligible but the Astros may opt to keep him in the minors after some early-season struggles. J.D. Davis was called up from Triple-A Fresno in a corresponding roster move.
Fisher is averaging 6.3 FanDuel points in 36 games this season while slashing .176/.222/.419 with 4 homers, 11 RBI, 13 runs scored, and 2 steals across 81 plate appearances.
