Jose Bautista released by Atlanta on Sunday
Former Atlanta Braves infielder/outfielder Jose Bautista has been released by the team on Sunday.
According to Braves General Manager Alex Anthopoulos, Bautista has a standing offer to return to Triple-A if he so desires. But for now, Johan Camargo will hold down the fort at third base for the big league squad.
In 40 plate appearances thus far, Bautista has a .143 batting average with a .593 OPS.
