Chicago Cubs catcher/first baseman Victor Caratini will do the catching for Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader with the Cincinnati Reds.
After four straight starts behind the plate, Willson Contreras will turn the catching duties over to Caratini. While Contreras is likely to return to the lineup Saturday night, Caratini will hit sixth against afternoon starter Luis Castillo.
Coming in at $2,300, Caratini is projected for 7.1 FanDuel points in the start.
