Pittsburgh Pirates catcher Francisco Cervelli is not starting on Friday against the San Diego Padres.
Cervelli has been dealing with a minor forearm injury this week, so he could just be getting some extra rest. Elias Diaz is behind the plate tonight.
Cervelli is hitting .296/.418/.556 with 6 home runs and 24 RBIs this season.
