Atlanta Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson (wrist) is expected to play two rehab games for High-A Rome before being activated from the disabled list, manager Brian Snitker said.
Snitker wouldn't rule out Swanson being available for Friday's series opener against the Miami Marlins but it sounds like the Braves want to ease the former top overall pick back into action. Johan Camargo has been covering things at shortstop since Swanson went down on May 2.
Swanson averaged 9.6 FanDuel points in 28 games while slashing .289/.336/.430 with 2 home runs and 13 RBI across 122 plate appearances before landing on the DL.
