Phillies' J.P. Crawford (forearm) takes BP on Thursday
NBC Philly's Jim Salisbury reports Philadelphia Phillies shortsop J.P. Crawford took batting practice on Thursday.
Crawford's been on the shelf since April 28th with a right forearm strain. He seems headed to High-A Clearwater to continue his rehab stint before returning to the team. When he gets back, Scott Kingery could see fewer starts for the Phillies.
Our models project Crawford to hit .208 with 2 home runs and 8 RBI over the rest of the season.
