Carson Kelly placed on Cardinals' 10-day disabled list with hamstring strain
St. Louis Cardinals catcher Carson Kelly was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a hamstring strain.
The Cardinals called up Steven Baron from Triple-A Memphis in a corresponding roster move but Francisco Pena figures to see most of the starts behind the plate. If Kelly is dealing with a minor strain, he could be back before the end of the month.
Kelly is averaging 1.8 FanDuel points through eight games this season while going 2-for-18 (.111) with 1 RBI and 4 strikeouts.
