Adrian Beltre placed on Rangers' disabled list with strained hamstring

Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a left hamstring strain.

What It Means:

Beltre is expected to miss roughly two weeks after suffering the injury during Sunday's series finale against the Houston Astros. He missed 11 days in April with a similar issue. Isiah Kiner-Falefa is covering the hot corner against the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday and the Rangers called up Hanser Alberto from Triple-A Round Rock in a corresponding roster move.

Beltre is averaging 8.5 FanDuel points in 29 games this season while slashing .314/.375/.422 with 1 home run and 12 RBI across 120 plate appearances.
