Cardinals' Jack Flaherty recalled from Triple-A, will start Tuesday night against Minnesota
The St. Louis Cardinals have called up starting pitcher Jack Flaherty from Triple-A Memphis.
What It Means:
Flaherty will replace Adam Wainwright (elbow) on the active roster while Wainwright takes what will likely be an extended stint on the disabled list. Flaherty will be called into action immediately, starting Tuesday night's game against the Minnesota Twins.
