Brewers call up prospect Freddy Peralta for MLB debut on Sunday
The Milwaukee Brewers purchased the contract of pitcher Freddy Peralta from Triple-A Colorado Springs.
Peralta will make his MLB debut Sunday at the Colorado Rockies after starter Chase Anderson landed on the disabled list with an illness. Peralta has a nice 3.63 ERA with 46 strikeouts in 34 2/3 innings at Triple-A this year, but a debut in homer-happy Coors Field isn't ideal for anyone.
Our models project Peralta for 25.9 FanDuel points in his debut on Sunday, with 5 2/3 innings pitched, 6 hits, 3 earned runs, 5 strikeouts, and 2 walks.
