Nationals place Ryan Zimmerman (back) on DL
The Washington Nationals have placed first baseman Ryan Zimmerman on the team's 10-day disabled list with a back injury.
The 33-year-old veteran has been dealing with various injuries to start the year, and this back injury has already held him out of the last two games. He's going to miss a few more before a possible return. Mark Reynolds has been called up to back Matt Adams at first.
Through 33 games, Zimmerman is hitting .217 with 5 home runs and 16 RBI in 125 plate appearances.
