Toronto's Randal Grichuk (knee) has progressed to hitting off tee
Sportsnet's Ben Nicholson-Smith reports Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Randal Grichuk is now hitting off a tee.
As Grichuk keeps ramping up his baseball activities, he's now a step closer to returning to the club. He's been out since April 30th with a sprained PCL in his right knee. With a timeline of three weeks, he should be back around the 20th of this month. Curtis Granderson and Teoscar Hernandez will continue to hold down the outfield spots in his stead.
Over 25 games, Grichuk is hitting just .106 with 2 home runs and 7 RBI on the season.
