David Price (hand) expects to start for Red Sox on Saturday

Boston Red Sox pitcher David Price (hand) said he expects to start against the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday.

What It Means:

Price was scratched from Wednesday's start against the New York Yankees due to carpal tunnel syndrome, but he threw a successful bullpen session on Thursday afternoon and it sounds like the 32-year-old southpaw isn't facing a long-term issue. He recorded an ugly 8.47 ERA in his three previous starts, so hopefully Price can get back on track moving forward.

Price is averaging 23.5 FanDuel points per game this season. numberFire's models currently project him to record a 4.13 ERA and 1.27 WHIP with 90 strikeouts and 32 walks in 95 2/3 innings over the remainder of the year.
