Dee Gordon sitting for Mariners in Thursday's series finale
Seattle Mariners center fielder/second baseman Dee Gordon is not in Thursday's lineup against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Gordon will take a breather after going 0-for-5 with a strikeout in Wednesday's loss to Toronto. Guillermo Heredia will cover center field while Andrew Romine draws a start in left for Seattle in tonight's series finale. Jean Segura is at the top of the order for leadoff duties.
Gordon is averaging 11.1 FanDuel points per game this season. numberFire's models project him to hit .297 with 32 steals, 33 RBI, and 71 runs scored over the remainder of the year.
