Lourdes Gurriel will not start for Blue Jays on Thursday night
Toronto Blue Jays infielder Lourdes Gurriel will not be in the starting lineup in Thursday night's game against the Cleveland Indians.
What It Means:
Aledmys Diaz will get the start at shortstop while Gurriel heads to the bench.
Gurriel has just one homer so far this year. We project him to hit 7 more and tack on an additional 28 runs, 27 RBI, and 2 SB over the rest of the season.
