San Francisco Giants reliever Will Smith has been activated from the 10-day disabled list.
Smith is ready to go after working his way back from Tommy John reconstructive elbow surgery. The 28-year-old left-hander will be available to make his season debut in Wednesday's series finale against the San Diego Padres. Austin Slater was optioned back to Triple-A Sacramento in a corresponding roster move.
numberFire's models project Smith to record a 3.88 ERA and 1.35 WHIP with 47 strikeouts and 19 walks across 39 1/3 innings this season.
