Kansas City Royals outfielder Abraham Almonte is not in Wednesday's lineup against the Boston Red Sox.
Almonte will be replaced by Alex Gordon in center field while Jon Jay mans left and Jorge Soler handles things in right. He finished 0-for-5 with a walk and 2 strikeouts in Tuesday's start.
Almonte is averaging 7.7 FanDuel points per game this season. numberFire's models currently project him to hit .242 with 3 homers and 16 RBI in limited work over the rest of the year.
