Phillies' Victor Arano (shoulder) placed on disabled list
Philadelphia Phillies reliever Victor Arano has been placed on the 10-day disabled list, retroactive to April 29, with a right rotator cuff strain.
Arano opened the year with 8 1/3 perfect relief innings before giving up 5 hits and a score over the last 2 2/3 frames, so the injury may be a contributing factor. Zach Eflin was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley in a corresponding roster mover.
Arano is averaging 7.2 FanDuel points per game this season. numberFire's models project him to record a 3.46 ERA and 1.08 WHIP with 15 strikeouts over the remainder of the year.
