Randal Grichuk lands on Blue Jays' disabled list with knee injury
Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Randal Grichuk is on the 10-day disabled list with a sprained right PCL.
Grichuk is expected to miss roughly three weeks after injuring his knee while making an awkward diving catch in Sunday's series finale against the Minnesota Twins. He's slashing just .106/.208/.227 with 24 strikeouts through 77 plate appearances this season. Teoscar Hernandez will handle things in right field while Grichuk is out.
Grichuk is averaging 5.8 FanDuel points per game this season. Prior to this move, numberFire's models projected him to hit 22 home runs and 66 RBI with 4 steals over the remainder of the year.
