Dodgers place Yasiel Puig (hip, foot) on disabled list
The Los Angeles Dodgers placed outfielder Yasiel Puig on the 10-day disabled list with a left hip pointer and bruised left foot.
What It Means:
The Dodgers are getting thinner at the outfield position. With Puig on the DL, Joc Pederson and Kike Hernandez should get some more playing time over the next few weeks. The team recalled starting pitcher Brock Stewart in a corresponding move.
Puig is averaging 7.1 FanDuel points per game this season.
