Dan Straily (forearm) expected to debut for Marlins on Sunday
Miami Marlins pitcher Dan Straily (forearm) is expected to start Sunday against the Colorado Rockies.
Straily opened the year with inflammation in his right forearm but appears ready to go after getting through three rehab starts. It's worth noting that he recorded a disappointing 6.92 ERA over 13 combined innings in those outings but the 29-year-old right-hander will join Wei-Yin Chen (elbow) this weekend as they make their return to the Marlins' rotation.
numberFire's models project Straily to spin a 4.26 ERA and 1.30 WHIP with 113 strikeouts and 43 walks across 124 2/3 innings this season.
