Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Aledmys Diaz is out of the lineup on Thursday against the Boston Red Sox.
Devon Travis and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. will form the middle infield tonight, so Diaz will take a seat on the bench. The Blue Jays have a difficult matchup against Chris Sale.
Diaz is slashing .191/.236/.397 with 11 runs, 4 home runs, and 9 RBIs over 72 plate appearances.
