Detroit Tigers catcher James McCann will sit out Wednesday night's game versus the Pittsburgh Pirates.
McCann drew the start behind the plate and batted seventh in the afternoon game, but will make way for John Hicks in the second leg of the double header on Wednesday night.
numberFire's models project McCann for 30 hits, 9 home runs, 35 RBI and a .230 average over 340 remaining plate appearances this season.
