Ronald Acuna playing left field, batting sixth for Braves in MLB debut
Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna is starting on Wednesday against the Cincinnati Reds.
Acuna will play left field and bat sixth versus Reds left-hander Brandon Finnegan in his first major league contest. The uber-talented 20-year-old is considered one of the top prospects in baseball and should make an immediate impact for the Braves and fantasy owners. Preston Tucker will be available off the bench and Peter Bourjos was designated for assignment.
Acuna batted .325/.374/.522 with 21 home runs, 82 RBI, 44 stolen bases, and 88 runs scored in 139 games last season across three different levels of Atlanta's minor league system.
