Miami Marlins starting pitcher Wei-Yin Chen (elbow) is scheduled to make his season debut on Saturday night against the Colorado Rockies.
Chen opened the season on the disabled list due to a partially torn ligament in his left elbow. The 32-year-old southpaw recorded a 1.17 ERA with 11 strikeouts and 1 walk across 7 2/3 total rehab innings for High-A Jupiter.
numberFire's models project Chen to twirl a 4.36 ERA and 1.33 WHIP with 46 strikeouts and 20 walks across 64 innings while going 4-3 this season.
