Detroit Tigers outfielder Victor Reyes is headed to the bench for Saturday's game against the Kansas City Royals.
Reyes started on Friday and went 0-for-3 at the plate. Today, he will turn over left field to JaCoby Jones, who moves from center as Leonys Martin reenters the lineup.
Through 8 games, Reyes is hitting .125 with 1 stolen base and 5 runs scored.
