Boxton Red Sox outfielder J.D. Martinez is not in the lineup on Friday night.
Martinez was lifted from Thursday's game for a pinch runner but no word if he is suffering from an injury or if Friday is a routine day off. Either way, Jackie Bradley will replace him in the lineup on Friday.
numberFire's algorithms project Martinez for 41 homers, 96 RBI, 85 runs scored, and a .285 batting average in 530 plate appearances the rest of the season.
