Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Curtis Granderson is not in Thursday's lineup against the New York Yankees.
Granderson hit a grand slam while finishing 2-for-4 with 2 walks and 3 scores on Wednesday but the left-handed hitter will sit today as the Blue Jays open things up against southpaw CC Sabathia and the Yankees. Steve Pearce will play designated hitter while Teoscar Hernandez draws another start in left field.
Granderson is averaging 10.0 FanDuel points per game this season. numberFire's models project him to bat .238 with 16 home runs, 41 RBI, 55 runs scored, and 5 steals over the remainder of the year.
