According to MLB.com's Carrie Muskat, Chicago Cubs second baseman/outfielder Ben Zobrist could be available Thursday against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Zobrist has been out since Sunday with a minor back issue. However, Cubs manager Joe Maddon said that the 36-year-old is feeling better and could come off the bench. Javier Baez is starting at second with Jason Heyward in right and Albert Almora in center today.
Hitting .326 and averaging 9.4 FanDuel points per game, Zobrist is projected for 8 homers, 40 RBI and a .221 average the rest of the season.
