Angels' Shohei Ohtani (blister) expected to make next start
Los Angeles Angeles pitcher/designated hitter Shohei Ohtani is expected to make his next scheduled start, reports Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register.
Angels manager Mike Scioscia said they "anticipate" Ohtani to make his next start, which would be Sunday against the San Francisco Giants. He also added that the phenom would be available to serve as DH Thursday. The blister isn't expected to impact Scioscia's decision to DH him, but it could come down to matchups with lefty Eduardo Rodriguez on the mound.
Our models project Ohtani for 9 home runs, 29 RBI and a .262 average the rest of the season.
